Inclusive Economy Awards 2020
Inclusive Economy Liverpool started 2020 by showcasing some of the most effective and promising community-focused businesses in the city region.
Inclusive Economy Liverpool held their second annual Celebration Evening for the city region’s community business sector at Oh Me Oh My on Thursday 6th February.
Too often, the real difference that community businesses make in Liverpool can be overlooked in favour of private businesses and the promise of external investment. These awards are a chance to give recognition to the best and brightest of the region who might not be used to seeing their names up in lights, but who nevertheless make a hugely valued contribution to the city we live in.
It was an informal celebration of the best of the grassroots business sector, so there’ll be no tuxedos or long speeches.
Patrick Hurley, head of Inclusive Economy Liverpool said:” We’re inclusive by name and inclusive by nature. So if you’d be interested in coming along next year and celebrating with us, get in touch with me by email on firstname.lastname@example.org and support the growth and development of the grassroots economy in the city. All are welcome and the more people are involved, the brighter the prospects for the 2020s will be.
