Biographical Info

Liverpool MakeFest is a non-profit community and reliant on volunteers and invited makers, a free one day festival for the public and free for applicants.

It is not affiliated with any business(es) or any institution(s). As a non-profit all funds raised go directly back into the operation of the festival. Liverpool MakeFest is supported by Liverpool Central Library,

Over the years financial support has been provided by Awesome Foundation (Liverpool), Mark Feltham, Caroline Keep, Suzanne Jameson, Mark Sabino, Denise Jones, Adrian McEwen, Defproc Ltd, Liverpool Girl Geeks. Not forgetting the time and dedication from curators, volunteers and makers alike.

‘We’ve also sought funding through Liverpool Libraries grants from Arts Council England and funding through WeHeartTech CIC grants from BBC Children in Need and Dot Everyone.’
