Coming soon, Celebration Evening 2020. Get your tickets for 6th February.

Inclusive Economy Liverpool are holding their second annual Celebration Evening for the city region’s community business sector at Oh Me Oh My on Thursday 6th February.

Tickets can be purchased here on Eventbrite.

Too often, the real difference that community businesses make in Liverpool can be overlooked in favour of private businesses and the promise of external investment. So Inclusive Economy Liverpool will be starting 2020 by showcasing some of the most effective and promising community-focused businesses in the city region.

It will be a chance to give recognition to the best and brightest of the region who might not be used to seeing their names up in lights, but who nevertheless make a hugely valued contribution to the city we live in.
It’s an informal celebration of the best of the grassroots business sector, so there’ll be no tuxedos or long speeches.

Patrick Hurley, head of Inclusive Economy Liverpool said:” We’re inclusive by name and inclusive by nature. So if you’d be interested in coming along and celebrating with us, get in touch with me by email on info@ieliverpool.com and support the growth and development of the grassroots economy in the city. All are welcome and the more people are involved, the brighter the prospects for the 2020s will be.”

Support for the event comes from Adding Value Consultancy, The Regenda Group, Wellbeing Enterprises, Construction Impact Framework, Northwest Housing Services and SAFE Regeneration. The support that these and other organisations have given Inclusive Economy Liverpool over the past two years has meant that over 90 new potential social entrepreneurs have been given training, support and assistance to start and scale their businesses, and over 300 people have been able to attend conferences on topics from climate change to community wealth building, and from grassroots growth to improved mental health.
